Cocobolo Interiors is a Westchester-based interior design studio and showroom. We offer a complete range of design services, along with an expansive library of fabrics, wall coverings, furniture, lighting and accessories.
With over 20 years of experience, we are known for creating timeless, functional and inviting interiors. Our projects range from family residences and luxury apartments to waterfront vacation homes and country clubs. In addition to working with clients in the area, Cocobolo has completed projects in Southampton, Nantucket, Miami and Chicago.

To achieve that, we take the time to listen to our clients, and thoughtfully create the home that best reflects their needs, lifestyles and aesthetics.

Julie Owen is the principal and owner of Cocobolo Interiors. She has a unique background where she is accredited in both the financial and creative areas as she has an MBA in Finance, and a design degree from the New York School of Interior Design. She began her career in Finance at a large corporation, but ultimately followed her true passion of interior design, followed by the acquisition of Cocobolo Interiors. Her love of design and construction, as well as her time living and traveling throughout Europe studying architectural styles are the key sources of her inspiration. She has the ability to work with clients to understand their tastes and preferences and propose solutions that are interesting, unique and aligned to a client’s budget. “It’s not about my style,” she says. “It’s about how to best reflect my client’s style.”
